Julie,I love it, it looks fantastic! My outseggisn for the magnet board is instead of galvanized steel buy magnetic paint $12 at Home Depot and paint directly on the wall. Use painters tape to make the box the size inside the frame, then you'll nail the frame to around that square you made. You can paint it two ways: you can paint the magnet paint and then use the color you already have over it, so no one knows there's magnetic there. The magnets will still stick despite the covering of the magnet paint. Or you can just paint it w/out covering it w/your original paint color. Then take the frame you have and nail it to the wall around the square you make. It will look like a framed magnet board, but it's the wall. You can do this w/dry erase paint and chalkboard paint. I bought tinted chalkboard paint and I love it! HTHCandice recently posted..
